Category C and CE
For residents of the German-speaking community there is the possibility to get the costs of the driver’s license training C or CE with up to 30% subsidized by the BRAWO project.
We will be happy to assist you in filling out the applications.
Category C ( without CAP )
A category C licence is required to drive a vehicle >3500kg HzGM.
First of all, a theoretical examination must be passed.
We offer a preparation course, which is not obligatory; it is also possible to prepare for the exam autodidactically with the help of training material.
The test can be taken without an appointment at the Autosecurite driver’s license office.
For the practical driving training, 8 compulsory driving hours must be completed, after which it is possible to take the practical driving test.
The practical driving test consists of two parts:
The manoeuvre part, which is placed on the private property and
the part on the public road.
(If the manoeuvre part is not passed, the “public road” part will not take place at all.
If the manoeuvre part is passed but the public road part is not; the manoeuvre part does not need to be passed again for the period of 3 years).
Our training takes place with a 3 axle Renault Magnum (automatic).
This makes it possible to train even novice truck drivers without any problems, as the automatic system allows them to concentrate more on driving.
Training in French is also possible.
Category C with CAP (professional qualification)
A category C driving licence with CAP is required to drive a vehicle >3500kg HzGM for professional reasons.
First, a four-part theoretical examination must be passed.
We offer a preparation course, which is not obligatory; it is also possible to prepare for the exam autodidactically with the help of training material.
The first two exams can be taken without an appointment at the Autosecurite driving licence office.
For the third and fourth part an appointment is necessary, which is usually possible within one week.
For the practical driving training, 8 compulsory driving hours must be completed, after which it is possible to take the practical driving test.
The practical driving test consists of three parts:
The manoeuvre part, which is placed on the private property and
a basic qualification for the professional drivers, e.g. load securing ect.
After passing these two parts of the exam, it is possible to take the third part of the exam which takes place on the public road.
(If the manoeuvre part or the basic qualification part is not passed, the part “public road” will not take place)
If one of the first two parts is passed, but the second part is not; the passed part does not need to be passed again for the period of 3 years).
Our training takes place with a 3 axle Renault Magnum (automatic).
This makes it possible to train even novice truck drivers without any problems, as the automatic system allows them to concentrate more on driving.
Training in French is also possible.
Category C+E
A category C+E driving licence is required to drive a category C vehicle with a heavy trailer ( >750kg HzGM ).
8 compulsory driving hours must be completed, after which it is possible to take the practical driving test.
There is no theoretical driving test.
Our training takes place with a Renault Magnum (automatic) with either a container semi-trailer or a Kögel turntable drawbar trailer.
This combination makes it possible to train even novice drivers of vehicles with trailers without any problems, as the automatic system allows them to concentrate more on driving. The combination of truck plus drawbar trailer requires greater skill in the manoeuvres, so this combination should appeal primarily to experienced category G drivers. All others are advised to use the saddle combination.
Training in French is also possible.
